Description:
My current work involves combining existing, used and weathered suitcases and odd boxes with my glass panels. The glass goes through multiple firings with fused layers, glass enamels and lusters. Openings are cut out of the frameworks and edged in copper and beads. The glass is set behind the openings and electrically lit from within by compact fluorescent bulbs.
