Description:
My work is created using the very simple and time old tradition of drawing. I draw from still-life items set up in my studio and augment that with reference photos that I take of animals or any perishable items that will not last over the duration of my process. I often tint my paper with watercolor to quickly get rid of the white of the paper and then use layers of colored pencil to draw out my visual stories. Each drawing can take weeks or months to complete.
