Description:
I spend many days revisiting a location waiting for just the right weather and lighting, making less than 50 photos a year. I photograph the old-fashioned way with a large bellows camera and darkcloth over my head. The very large film size still yields the best quality in photography, but is extremely tedious to work with. I print with traditional silver-halide color emulsions. I strive for subtle, contemplative images that inspire people to protect our vanishing forests.
