Each piece is completely hand built using coil, pinch and slab construction methods. colored engobes are applied at the wet and leather hard stages and are washed in iron oxide between the bisque and glaze electric firings, reaching a cone 5 temperature. Depending on the piece, cold finishes and joins may be used to achieve my ultimate goal for the look of the piece.
