Description:
I create stencils, printing blocks and relief plates for resist and transfer applications of acrylic paint on wood panel. I make collage papers with hand-printing and acrylic glazing techniques, and repurposed papers are also included as collage elements. Paint and paper are layered to build a richly patterned and textured surface, with charcoal and graphite added among the layers. The work is sealed with gloss acrylic and finished with cold wax medium.
