Description:
My work is done primarily on board prepared with 3-4 sanded gesso layers. The artwork is created with multiple layers of oil paint - some w/ resin medium added, and in some cases sanding and scraping between the paint layering. I also incorporate acrylics, plaster, charcoal, gold leaf, and pure pigments in the art. Color, value & texture are built up slowly creating a luminous & extremely rich surface texture.
