Description:
My vessels and sculpture are created by the flameworking process in which I use a burner to heat borosilicate glass so it can be blown and sculpted. After annealing in a kiln, I add textures and patterns to the glass by sandblasting and carving. My work is influenced by the beauty of nature, the spontaneity of the glass, and the continual cycles of growth and decay.
