Description:
I love painting every day scenes, objects and people. When I'm inspired to paint something, I take a video of the subject. In my studio I choose just the right video frame to paint from, then begin by painting from dark to light. I emphasize color temperature differences as I paint the form of the subject. The dark accents and light highlights come at the very end. Each painting gets a glossy varnish, and is put into a solid, dark frame that I make myself.
