Description:

My process often begins in my journal--dilemmas and musings, find expression in prose or sketches, which in turn become the basis for new sculptures. Two thousand degree heat transforms the clay figures into permanent ceramic sculpture. Patinas created from underglazes and oil paint washes complete my vision.
