I'm a story teller. My mixed media surfaces create a picture filled diary of my thoughts through the use of symbols and expressive figurative elements. This is my voice, not heard but seen.
I depend on the story to carry me along as I work. I liken the layers of various materials to the the layering of life experiences. Each layer adds a bit of history to the piece. In the end the finished artwork has been made richer and more complex by this process.
