Description:
My work is created using the very simple and time old tradition of drawing. I draw from still-life items set up in my studio and augment that with reference photos that I take of animals or any perishable items that will not last over the duration of my process. I use watercolor to quickly block in the large shapes on my paper and then use colored pencil to fine tune things. Each drawing can take weeks or months to complete.
