Description:
Function in glass has always been a part of my work .Even if the function is eye candy. Color combinations are an important part to my glass. Reflection, refraction and transparency has always been a draw to me. I have 2 furnaces one clear and the other rotating color . This gives me an advantage for a color blend that can change a piece . my work is sprayed w/ tin at the end of making the piece. The tin reacts with the silver and the cane and shards of glass on the surface .Glass has been a part of my life for over 39 years and is always challenging me w/ change and different approaches . There is much to come in the future.
